Consultant for Waste and Resource Recovery Contracts Tender

The purpose of this procurement is to engage a waste tender specialist to draft waste tender specifications that provide cost-effective, sustainable, and flexible waste and resource recovery services that enable Manningham to meet its service obligations, regulatory requirements, and climate and waste policy commitments over the next decade.

The following contracts are expiring 30 June 2028:

• Kerbside Collection Contract (needs to be awarded 1 year prior to commencement date)
• Processing of Recyclables
• Hard Waste and Bundled Garden Waste

This contractor will also be required to scope out future opportunities for alternate waste processing and incorporate the potential of a separate glass service. It is expected that these works will take up to 12 months to complete.

Any questions about this request should be submitted through the "Question Forum". The cut off time for questions is three (3) business days prior to the closing date.

The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted and any action or contact that may be considered as an attempt to influence a decision of Councilors or Staff shall disqualify the relevant tenderer.
