Cleaning Services Tender

Junee Shire Council is seeking submissions from appropriately qualified and experienced local businesses for the provision of cleaning services for the following Council Facilities:

• Administration Offices
• Library
• Works Depot
• Sewer Treatment Plant
• Junee Township Amenities & Toilets
• Highway Rest Areas and Rural Townships

Council is willing to consider Tender submissions for the whole of the four (4) Scope of Works Appendix A-D or certain Scope of Works from either Appendix A, B, C and/or D, subject to the condition that the Tenderer will be using their own employees in order to conduct the cleaning services. The ability to subcontract any or all of the cleaning services to another party will not be considered.

The contract will be initially signed for one (1) year, and Council may extend the agreement up to two (2) occurrences, for another one (1) year period, based on the outcome of Councils assessment of the contractor’s performance, provision of the appropriate insurances and the rates before the expiry of the current contracted period.

The successful Contractor shall be required to provide and follow a comprehensive WH&S and Risk Management system, plus hold and maintain suitable Public Liability insurance, Workers Compensation insurance, and all other relevant insurances and documents as detailed in the Tender documentation. These documents must be supplied with any Tender submission.

A mandatory on site pre-tender meeting will be held at a date and time communicated via tendering portal as an Addendum.

Lodgment: Submissions for this Tender may be lodged via Vendorpanel or hand delivered to the tender box (in a sealed envelope named as: T25-12: Cleaning Services Tender Submission) located inside the foyer of the Junee Shire Council at 29 Belmore St, Junee, NSW, 2663.

Please note that Junee Shire Council will appoint a preferred Contractor and reserves the right to increase or reduce the scope of works prior to commencement, and during the works/financial year to meet budgetary obligations.
