Tender Description
The Central Coast Council is seeking a qualified and experienced contractor under a Triennial Services Contract to provide gardening and grounds maintenance services across Council's buildings, parks, and community facilities. The contract will run for three (3) years, with an option for one (1) year extension at Council's discretion.
The Gardening Services Contract covers the provision of routine gardening and landscape maintenance, seasonal works, and minor improvements to maintain attractive, safe, and functional outdoor areas.
Services include, but are not limited to:
- mowing
- edging
- pruning
- hedge trimming
- planting
- mulching
- weeding
- garden bed maintenance
- fertilising
- pest and disease control
- turf care
- leaf and debris removal
- path and hard surface sweeping
- maintenance of irrigation systems and reporting faults
- minor landscaping or garden improvement works as directed.
- Reporting of hazards, vandalism, or defects to Council
The Contractor must supply all labour, equipment, and materials required to complete works safely and efficiently, comply with Council's WHS and environmental policies, and ensure all staff are trained and competent in horticultural practices.
This contract will operate on a Schedule of Rates basis, with specific service frequencies and standards determined by Council.
