Tender Description
The Central Coast Council is seeking a qualified and experienced contractor under a Triennial Services Contract to provide pressure cleaning, graffiti removal, roof cleaning, and paver maintenance services across Council-owned buildings, facilities, and public spaces. The contract will operate for three (3) years, with an option for a one (1) year extension at Council's discretion.
The Pressure Cleaning, Graffiti Removal & Roof Cleaning Services Contract covers the provision of routine and reactive high-pressure cleaning, surface treatment, graffiti removal, and roof maintenance to ensure Council's assets are safe, clean, and visually maintained.
Services include, but are not limited to:
- High-pressure cleaning of paved surfaces, building exteriors, pathways, steps, ramps, shelters, bins, and street furniture
- Pressure cleaning of roofs, gutters, and eaves to remove moss, lichen, debris, and stains incorporating safe working-at-heights systems, compliant with Work Health and Safety Regulations and AS/NZS 1891 Industrial Fall-Arrest Systems
- Graffiti removal from buildings, signs, fences, and public infrastructure using appropriate methods for surface type and environmental safety
- Application of anti-graffiti coatings or protective sealants as directed by Council
- Paver joint stabilisation (pave-locking) and re-sanding to maintain surface integrity and prevent weed growth
- Removal of oil, grease, chewing gum, mould, and other surface contaminants
- Collection and disposal of waste, debris, and wash water in compliance with environmental regulations
- Implementation of water recovery and containment measures to protect stormwater systems and surrounding areas
- Completion of all works in accordance with AS/NZS 4233 High Pressure Water Jetting Systems, Council's WHS requirements, and relevant environmental standards.
The Contractor must supply all labour, plant, and materials, ensure appropriate qualifications and training for personnel (including Working Safely at Heights accreditation), and maintain equipment in safe and serviceable condition.
This contract will operate on a Schedule of Rates basis, with services performed as directed by Council. Council reserves the right to seek alternative quotations or engage other contractors for specific or large-scale works as required.
