Spillway and Bridge Replacement Livingstone Park, Omeo

Specification:

a) This specification covers arrangements for the spillway and pedestrian bridge construction works in Livingstone Park, Omeo

b) The scope of works of this contract involves the complete construction of the new spillway and pedestrian bridge in Livingstone Park, Omeo as described by the Projects Drawings. The Contractor shall supply all labour, equipment, and consumables to complete the Contract. All works shall be carried out in accordance with the Contract.

c) Livingstone Park and the Omeo Mountain Bike Trails will remain open to the public during the Works. This is to be reflected in the Contractor’s Traffic Management Plan, Construction compound site plan and Construction Program.

d) Prior to the commencement of works, the Contractor shall visit and become acquainted with existing site conditions, accessibility, construction constraints, public use of the area and all issues pertinent to completely and properly executing this Contract. The signing of the Contract shall be taken as proof that this has been done. No extras whatsoever shall be allowed during the currency of the Contract because of the failure of the Contractor and subcontractors to visit the site and fully acquaint themselves with conditions on site and access requirements.

e) Should any discrepancy occur between the plans, and the actual site conditions the Contractor shall refer such discrepancy to the Superintendent before proceeding with the section of work.
