Kingston City Council (Council) is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the Desilting of Epsoms Wetlands Sediment Ponds.

The scope of works for this contract include the following:

Site establishment and environmental controls
Excavation and removal of sediment using long-reach excavator
On-site dewatering using sealed skip bins with bladder/geofabric inserts
Odour mitigation measures
Transport and disposal of dewatered silt to an EPA-approved facility
Local traffic management (if required)
Reinstatement of existing compacted clay liner
Contingency for contaminated material (testing, handling, disposal)
Revegetation
Bypass channel works
