Māruawai College (the School) – Stage 1a Demolition Works – Main Contractor Services

This project forms part of a broader redevelopment programme for an existing school site. The initial phase (Stage 1a) involves the demolition of the Southeast Wing of Block A1 to enable the design and construction of new specialist teaching facilities.

The works are critical to addressing infrastructure risks and enabling future learning environments aligned with Ministry standards.

The demolition works will safely remove the Southeast Wing of Block A1, mitigating health and safety risks associated with asbestos and aged infrastructure. This will enable the site to be prepared for the construction of a new Specialist Teaching Block, supporting modern learning delivery and future decanting requirements.
