Plant & Equipment (Panel Contract)

Council is seeking Tenders from appropriately qualified, licensed and experienced Tenderers for the hire of Plant and Equipment on the basis of a Standing Offer agreement for Council controlled streets/roads, parks, Council facilities and other such locations owned and or managed by Council.

This tender is for the provision of both Wet and Dry hire of various Plant and Equipment items such as, but not limited to the following categories: (refer to Part C for more information)

• Trucks
•  Earthmoving equipment (Skid Steer Loaders, Excavators etc)
•  Road maintenance Equipment

The current population is 52,500 and with the Wollondilly Shire now one of the fastest growing local government areas in New South Wales, expected to reach more than 100,000 people by 2041. With significant development (15,000 new homes) occurring in the Wilton and Appin areas, close proximity to the Western Sydney Airport and other developments across the Shire, growth and opportunity is fast approaching.

Council administers an area of 2,560 square kilometres and provides the Services on behalf of approximately 55,000 residents and ratepayers. As an indication of the extent of the Services, Council maintains 830kms of roads, 134 reserves and playgrounds, and manages a myriad of public infrastructure and structures.
