Tender for Lease to Operate the Cafe and Gelato Bar at North Sydney Olympic Pool

Tender submissions are sought from suitably experienced operators to lease the cafe and gelato bar spaces within the newly renovated North Sydney Olympic Pool (NSOP) - an Australian legend!

We are looking for the right partner to bring passion you can taste. NSOP will be where Australian flavours take centre stage. A multi-layered experience, with loved-classics and new delights. Quick bites, post-workout refuels, meals as nutritious as they are delicious. Comfort food and treats that kids find irresistible. Limited-edition ice cream worth travelling for. The opportunity to design an offering that's Instagram-worthy, part of Sydney pool culture, and destined to become its own legend.

We're creating a new Aussie kiosk that celebrates the pool experience. Our focus is on fresh, feel-good food, alongside playful, modern Aussie treats that are worth coming up for air. Think vibrant, healthy meals and snacks alongside tempting treats. It's the perfect food experience to match the incredible Harbour views.

RFT documents may be obtained free of charge by registering on the e-tendering portal. RFT documents are also available in hardcopy for a non-refundable fee of $300.00 per set, from North Sydney Council at 200 Miller Street, North Sydney.

A pre-tender meeting will be held onsite at NSOP (4 Alfred Street South, Milsons Point) on Monday 13 October 2025 at 10:30am. Note: NSOP is an active construction site, so all people attending the pre-tender meeting must wear closed in shoes, a hi-vis vest and hardhat.

RFT responses can be submitted either via the Electronic Tender Box or can be lodged in Council's Tender Box, ground floor of Council Chambers Building.
