Tender Description
This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
TGA monitors the safety of medicines by collecting and assessing adverse event reports and taking appropriate regulatory action. Medicine adverse reports are submitted to the TGA and shared through various methods, depending on the type of reporter and type of medicine.
The MAEDX project seeks to:
- Better integrate medicines adverse event reporting into existing health professional systems and processes
- Improve access to medicines adverse events data for jurisdiction, sponsors, health professional and the public
Program outcomes:
- Improved user experience accessing public medicine and vaccine adverse event data (DAEN-medicines)
- Efficient and tailored sharing of medicine and vaccine adverse event data with sponsor organisations
- Improved two-way exchange of vaccine adverse event data between TGA and states and territories
- Reduced barriers to reporting medicine adverse events for health professionals
The Department is seeking a partner that can provide penetration testing deliverables as per the Statement of Requirements.
