Benalla Landfill Cell 3-Stage 3B Construction

Benalla Council requires suitably qualified construction contractor/s to undertake in summary the following Works Under Contract (WUC).

1. Civil works Contractor:

• Bulk earthworks including subgrade, subbase and bunds preparation as specified.
• Supply and placement of the aggregate leachate drainage layer as specified.
• Excavation of cell liner anchor trenches including backfill and compaction as specified.
• Supply and placement of 300mm thick batter slope as shown on the drawings sand protection layer as specified.

2. Cell Lining Works Contractor

• Supply and installation of Geosynthetic Clay Liner (GCL) as specified.
• Supply and installation of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) as specified.
• Supply and installation of geotextile cushion layer as specified.
• Supply and installation of leachate underdrainage pipe as specified.
• Supply and construction of HDPE leachate sump, concrete base solar pump and pipe riser as specified.
• Supply and installation of geotextile filter layer as specified.
