Ports Victoria (PV) is a statutory authority primarily responsible for the safe navigation of commercial vessels in the port waters of the State’s four commercial ports, together with the facilitation of cruise shipping at Station Pier and at other locations in Victoria. PV provides a critical service for the international and domestic maritime trade needs of Victoria and south-eastern Australia.
We contribute to the enhancement of the economic and social prosperity for the people of Victoria by providing vital infrastructure and services for trade and tourism. We do this by:
- channel management and safe navigation in the waters of the ports of Melbourne, Geelong and Hastings
- waterside emergency and marine pollution response
- the management of Station Pier which is Victoria’s premier cruise shipping facility.
- realizing Victorian trade and tourism opportunities for seaborne passengers and freight.
Ports Victoria (PV) is seeking tenders from suitably qualified contractors with experience in undertaking marine infrastructure maintenance. The successful contractor shall perform works associated with rehabilitation of timber piled structures and also undertake early works required to facilitate to a fendering upgrade program across Station Pier berths.
Please note, tenderers will be required to sign a Confidentiality Deed Poll and email the signed copy to skandan.kumar@ports.vic.gov.au before tender documents are issued.

Notes: The briefing session date has been scheduled on a provisional basis. Ports Victoria is flexible and can arrange site visits according to the availability of the tenderers.
A site visit is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
Attendance at the briefing is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
