Exressions of Interest requested to achieve the following Cafe Objectives
- Provide Eureka Centre visitors with exceptional service and quality food and beverages at a range of price points;
- Create a warm and stylish space that echoes the wider vision of the Eureka Centre as an inspiring cultural destination and welcoming community space;
- Establish strong credentials to directly build café clientele in addition to capitalising on the Eureka Centre client base;
- While the café should have its own identity, the Eureka Centre visitor needs to experience the café as part of an integrated Eureka Centre experience;
- Develop the café into a well patronised meeting place for coffee and food for the Ballarat East and wider community.
Details of the Premises
The café space is within the Eureka Centre building (102 Stawell St South, Eureka, VIC 3350), located at the Eureka Stockade Memorial Park. The building and park are managed by the City of Ballarat but located on Crown Land under the jurisdiction of the Victorian Government’s Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action.

In addition to the café, there is an extensive stand-alone commercial kitchen that will satisfy the requirements of a medium to large scale catering business.
