This document has been prepared on behalf of the member councils of the Riverina Eastern Regional Organisation of Councils (“REROC”) and the REROC Waste Forum.

REROC is a voluntary association of eight local government bodies located in the eastern Riverina region of NSW. REROC’s Member Councils are Bland Shire Council, Coolamon Shire Council, Cootamundra- Gundagai Regional Council, Greater Hume Shire Council, Junee Shire Council, Lockhart Shire Council, Temora Shire Council and Goldenfields Water County Council. The REROC Waste Forum includes the above Councils, and Wagga Wagga City Council.

This Resourcing Sharing Project for the Collection and Disposal of Metal Waste is the result of assessments made by Member Councils regarding the quantity and the possible advantages that can be gained through a regional collection.

It is REROC’s intention to select a Contractor for up to two Collections and Disposal of Metal Waste for the Participating Councils, listed in Appendix A The lowest, or any particular quotation may not be accepted, and not all Councils may participate in the Collection.

The Project calls for one Collection and Disposal of Metal Waste service for each participating Council plus one additional Collection for Wagga Wagga City Council as shown in Appendix A. Estimated volumes of Metal Waste are also detailed in Appendix A.
