Tender Description
Gippsland PHN have released a new public tender, seeking innovative solutions that provides multi-disciplinary team-based care that meets local community need relating to Primary Mental Health Care (PMHC) and Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Wellbeing service.
Contracts are expected to be executed in February 2026, with services commencing 1 July 2026 until 30 June 2028.
The total budget for this procurement is up to approximately $7.3 million, for 2026-2028 ex GST.
Partnerships are essential to how Gippsland PHN commissions services and priority will be given to models that are delivered though service provider partnerships. By working closely with other providers, such as GPs, community health, allied health, and specialists, services provide better outcomes for consumers. These partnerships can take many forms, like consortia, formal agreements, shared care protocols or shared staff and spaces. Working together helps to fill gaps, tackle workforce shortages, and makes sure people get the right care, especially across different local areas. Note: A partnership/consortium proposal must identify a lead organisations with whom Gippsland PHN could form a contract with contract with.
The public tender is expected to open on Monday 1 September 2025 and will close at 5.00pm on Wednesday, 20 October 2025.
