Raroa Road Re-Roof

Lower Hutt Police Station is made up of two buildings; 19 Kings Crescent which is a two-storey building and 18 Raroa Road. This tender is referring to the re-roof of Raroa Road only.

The current roof is not fit for purpose and is causing numerous leaks into staff areas. There have been patch repairs to the roofs over several years, but a longer lasting solution is needed to rectify the issue.

Procurement of a Main Contractor

Scope of project - The scope of Works for the Main Contractor will include the following construction activities:

IN SCOPE:

Supply, install and commission as below:

• Installation of a over roof solution on the building as per the architectural drawings and specifications

• Removal of ICT mast

• As built updated with all warrantees and Guarantees handed over to Police for asset management

• Ongoing maintenance for the Defects Liability Period

• Application for Code of Compliance (CCCS)

OUT OF SCOPE:

Anything specifically not stated as being in scope. This includes:

• Loose furniture, fixtures, and equipment

• Sundry equipment and interface boards

• Structural upgrades and repairs to building

• Decanting the site

• Submission of building consent
