Strathbogie Shire Council is seeking suitably experienced suppliers to fulfil Contract 25-26-11 - Environmental Monitoring at Violet Town Landfill

This Contract is for the provision of a suitably qualified environmental consultant to undertake licence compliance and environmental monitoring at the Violet Town Landfill (herein refer to as the Site) as required by the EPA and outlined in the Violet Town Landfill Aftercare Management Plan (AMP).

This will include but not limited to quarterly monitoring in February, May, August and November and include the monitoring of groundwater, surface water, leachate, landfill gas, LFG perimeter bores, surface emissions, service pits and bio-filters. A report is to be submitted summarising the works completed in the monitoring rounds and annually a summary of the monitoring results obtained during the year and any conclusions and recommendations arising from the monitoring rounds. Refer to section titled PART A in the Specification Document.

This contract may also include a provisional sum allocated for the potential installation of additional CO monitoring bores. The execution of these works is not guaranteed and will be subject solely to the discretion and approval of Council. Refer to section titled PART B in the Specification Document.

The Site where the works will be undertaken is at the closed Violet Town Landfill, owned and operated by the Strathbogie Shire Council, and is located at 190 McDiarmid’s Road, Violet Town, Victoria.

It is Strathbogie Shire Council's policy not to accept Tenders received after the specified closing time.

Strathbogie Shire advises that failure to supply a lump sum price in the Schedule 1 will result in your tender not being evaluated.

All Tender Schedules must be completed in order for the submission to be evaluated.

You must allow sufficient time to upload your submission prior to the 4pm deadline. We suggest you familiarise yourself with the online form and uploading options via the RESPONSE tab.

Late submissions in any format will not be accepted. If you are midway through your submission and the clock hits 4:00pm your submission will not be accepted and you will be unable to continue.

We recommend you access a good quality network/internet connection.
