Dredging - The Entrance Channel - 2026

Council is requesting tender submissions from experienced dredging contractors to carry out dredging works at the Entrance Channel between 16th February 2026 and June 1st 2026.

It is anticipated that dredging will remove approximately 30,000 cubic metres of sand from the channel which will be utilised for sand nourishment (carried out concurrently by Council) at The Entrance North. The contract will comprise of both lump sums plus fixed schedule of rates.

Council is seeking to use this Request for Tender as a basis for entering into a Contract with the preferred Tenderer.
