Meadowbank Demolition

The Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust (GMCT) is seeking a qualified contractor to carry out demolition and associated site clearance works at the Old Depot within Northern Memorial Park. The scope of works includes the removal of existing structures such as portable buildings, sheds, a greenhouse, and the main building, together with surface structures including concrete pads, kerbs, garden beds, and asphalt areas. The works also include disconnection and decommissioning of all services, removal of hazardous materials where identified, and site restoration to a clean, level, and safe condition.

Only contractors with a CM3 qualification will be considered. GMCT is subject to the requirements of PDACMA (1994) and is therefore seeking responses from members of the VicRoads Prequal Panel and/or Construction Supplier Register (CSR). In accordance with PDACMA, GMCT will issue a contract in the form of AS2124. Submissions from other suitably qualified and experienced suppliers will also be considered.

A briefing session will be held at 56 Box Forest Road, Glenroy, VIC, Australia, 3046 on 2 October 2025 10:30 am.
