Tender Description

This Tender is invited by the Issuer.

The Clean Energy Regulator (CER) is seeking experienced manual and automation testers to work in an Agile scrum team as part of a large program of work. The successful candidates will be responsible for optimising testing efforts to ensure quality assurance and excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business representatives and a multi-disciplinary scrum team to understand expected system behaviours and workflows, clarify user stories and acceptance criteria and design risk-based tests accordingly.
  • Build test cases using formal test design techniques, perform the tests and report evidence of testing into Azure DevOps.
  • Test functionality under development to complete testing activities within the sprint timeframe.
  • Participate in cross-team testing activities and testing of regular releases.
  • Identify test data requirements and build out test data as required to support testing activities.
  • Perform Exploratory Testing in a credible and structured way to help find problems that threaten the value of the software.
  • Report problems in the software clearly and concisely, then work collaboratively with the Scrum team to assist with reproducing problems (as required) and test the fixes.
  • Identify scenarios suitable for test automation.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
  • Execute automation test suites, analyse results, and manage bug reporting
  • Participate and contribute to relevant Communities of Practice across the Agile Release Train.
