AIHW is seeking quotations from qualified vendors to provide a fully managed SIEM–SOC as a Service solution. The objective is to uplift AIHW’s cybersecurity posture by implementing a scalable, intelligence-led security information and event management (SIEM) capability that supports logging, continuous monitoring, threat detection, and incident response. This includes access to a mature Security Operations Centre (SOC) function delivered by a responsible team of cybersecurity professionals who operate 24/7 to monitor alerts, investigate anomalies, and coordinate incident response using advanced tooling and threat intelligence.
This RFQ focuses on engaging a provider under an outsourced ‘As-a-Service’ model, leveraging the maturity of the Australian cybersecurity market and its alignment with government and critical infrastructure requirements. The selected provider must demonstrate operational and technical alignment with the Australian Government’s Information Security Manual (ISM) and Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), while supporting AIHW’s internal cybersecurity policies and principles namely, safeguarding data confidentiality, ensuring system integrity, enabling continuous monitoring, and maintaining resilience through proactive risk management, resolution and support.
