Carterton District Council Cleaning Services

Carterton District Council is seeking a capable supplier to clean its offices and public facilities. Council expects to launch a Request for Tenders in late August, with responses due in late September. The contract is likely to run for three years, with options to extend for a further two years.

We are looking to engage an experienced and reliable cleaning company with local personnel who can undertake daily cleaning of its facilities in the events centre, main offices, and public toilets, as well as its yard and office facilities and the wastewater treatment plant. We also need weekly or twice weekly cleaning of facilities and toilets at Haumanau House and the Courthouse.

The work will involve dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning of toilets, benches and sinks, emptying rubbish, as well as checking supplies of paper towels, toilet paper and soap. Reports on damage and vandalism will be an important part of this contract, enabling fast remediation of damage and maintenance of our public facilities in excellent condition.
