Expression of Interest: University of Technology Sydney Design Guidelines Update

The University of Technology Sydney ('UTS') is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to act in the role of Head Consultant for the update of UTS's design guidelines document. The design guidelines document provides parameters to the UTS Property Unit, as well as their appointed external design and delivery professionals, regarding the design and documentation of UTS construction projects. The design guidelines provide direction and guidance in regard to the UTS's requirements across all aspects of design, including building fabric, engineering, interior design and sustainability principles, and are also used by UTS to understand how different spaces on campus should be designed.

The Head Consultant will be required to procure, contract, and manage a team of subconsultants

to complete a scope of services, which will be tendered via a Request for Quote process at a later date. The updated design guidelines have a planned go live date of 30 June 2026.
