Tender Description
Complete detailed power distribution network design, enabling electrical infrastructure replacement projects across townships in Western Australia's Pilbara region, in which Rio Tinto act as the Network operator. The detailed design shall be completed in line with Rio Tinto and Australian standards
The following is to be considered within the detailed design:
- 33/11kV town zone substations (primary and secondary equipment and auxiliary equipment)
- 11/0.433kV kiosk substations integration (foundations, earthing, locations)
- 33kV/11kV/0.433kV underground cable (volt drop, sizing, cable routes etc.)
- Overhead powerline design (33kV and 11kV)
- Power system modelling of HV and LV networks using DIgSILENT Powerfactory
- Earthing design and modelling using CDEGS
- Detailed protection design and assessment
- Street lighting design
- Detailed civil foundation and trenching design incorporating flood levels, topology and existing town drainage
- Drafting - new drawing creation and modification to existing drawings
- Arc flash assessment
- Maximum demand assessments
- Lightning protection
- Safety in Design
