This RFT is made by Council for contractors to tender for the collection and disposal of seaweed.

As a result of the RFT, the Council is seeking to establish a panel of qualified contractors to provide reliable collection and disposal services for seaweed, for a Contract Period of two (2) years (initial term), with one (1) twelve (12) month extension option.

The current indicative volumes are approximately 2,500–3,000 tonnes per year (average 60 tonnes per collection). These figures are provided for guidance only. Council does not guarantee a minimum or maximum tonnage under this arrangement.
