Provision of Kerbside Bin Inspection Services

Hume City Council is inviting tenders for the delivery of Kerbside Bin Inspection Program.

This initiative is aimed at improving the quality of recycling and FOGO waste streams, using data gained to inform strategy.

Running over two years, with two optional one-year extensions, the program will include regular inspections of kerbside recycling and organics bins, along with the delivery of tailored education and compliance information to the community.

Through the collection of data on waste disposal habits and contamination levels, this program will help shape future outreach and behaviour-change efforts across the municipality.
