This project is for installation of drainage, culverts, kerbs, channels and general concrete works.

The scopes of work generally comprise of the following but not limited to:

Scope of works include:

• Supply & Installation of stormwater drainage pits, culverts pipes, headwalls, base slab and apron slabs including excavation and backfill (DS2018/000619 Sheet SD-0701 – 0730)

• Supply and Installation of kerbs and channels as per standard details and project specific drawings (Refer Drawing DS2018/000619 - Full Set).

• Removal and disposal of existing pits, concrete pipes and headwalls.

• Prepare foundation for base and apron slabs (including necessary testing).

• Sand cement backfill for trench up to 300mm over the pipe including haunch, site zone and overlay zone.

• Install culverts in line with the project specific drawings DS2018/000619 Sheet SD-0701 – 0730. Culvert numbers are as follows DT1 to DT6.

• Refer standard details for pits, pipe culvert and headwalls (R0220, R0240, R0210)

• CCTV Inspection and reporting in accordance R11 clause 5.2.

• Due to sequence of work multiple site establishment will be required.

• Contractor shall supply all necessary materials and other resources to carry out the necessary works.

• TfNSW will provide reference points for each culvert.

• Installation no fines concrete and geotextile for NFC pad in for subsoil drainage.

• Supply and installation of kerbs, channels, lintels and concrete berms (varying widths).

• TfNSW will mark the location of utilities on site. Contractor is responsible for physically locating/potholing utilities on site. Contractor shall always keep Utility Plans on site.

• The Warranty period is 12 months.

• Site establishments (8).

• Implementation and operation of Management Systems for elements of quality, environment, safety, community, industrial relations, programming, records, etc

• All personnel engaged on the works must be appropriately trained and in possession appropriate tickets.

• Contractor is to ensure that any disturbances caused because of these works, direct or otherwise, are made good prior to the completion of contracted works.

Tenders are invited to undertake the following works: HW4 Black Creek Road Upgrade – Culvert and Kerb Installation. This contract is for the supply & installation of stormwater drainage pits, culvert pipes, headwalls, base slab and apron slabs, kerbs, including excavation and backfill.

A pre-tender meeting will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams at 10:00 am on Friday 12 September 2025. Attendance at the pre-tender meeting is mandatory to submit a conforming tender.
