Introduction

The Rural City of Wangaratta is inviting tenders for the supply of Council Clothing and Personal Protective Equipment. This Panel Tender is primarily for the clothing & personal protective equipment for outdoor staff; however, it may also be used for other uniform requirements across Council.

Background

The Council has previously engaged a supplier to provide outdoor workwear, with additional supply extended to other areas as required. With the current contract approaching its conclusion, Council is seeking to ensure continued best value and service provision across all categories through this procurement process.

While preference is given to a single supplier providing all portions, tenders for individual portions will also be considered to ensure value is achieved across a diverse range of clothing styles and options.

Contract Term

The Contract term shall be for an initial period of two years, with the option to extend for further one year, plus one year, plus one year, up to a maximum extension period of three years.

Exercising the optional extension period(s) shall be at the sole discretion of Council and subject to the Suppliers satisfactory performance during the initial contract period.
