Powerhouse Architectural Photography Panel

The Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences (Powerhouse) seeks Requests for Quote (RFQ) for architectural photography to support delivery of a transformative renewal program across its four sites.

Project goals

Powerhouse is delivering a transformative renewal program across its four sites. To assist with documentation of the project, Powerhouse will establish a panel of suitably qualified architectural photographers to work closely with Powerhouse staff, industry collaborators, and community stakeholders to develop, produce and deliver photographic documentation. The architectural photographer/s will draw on their industry knowledge and experience to help identify keyviews, project milestones and stories that will enrich the documentation process and support the broader strategic and operational objectives of the Museum.

Scope

In collaboration with the Powerhouse, industry and community the supplier will:

• Document the Powerhouse Program, including architectural, installation, exhibition, and events relating to the renewal of Powerhouse sites.
• Research, develop, and deliver content to industry standard.
• Identify and engage with key project stakeholders, collaborators, and contributors involved in the Powerhouse Renewal.

1. Submission Requirements

• Individual, company or partnership details, including ABN and key contact person including website, email and phone contact details.
• Provide an overview (or examples) demonstrating a proven track record in the delivery of creative services for a project of a similar scope, scale and complexity – maximum 8-10 pages.
• Provide a CV or a biography outlining relevant experience – maximum 1 page.
• Provide a statement outlining individual approach or methodology to ensure the project scope can be achieved – maximum 1 page.
• Supply two industry references (names and contact details).
• Provide a fee schedule for the services outlined within this brief as per the following breakdown:
• Half day rate ex GST
• Day rate ex GST
• Fees to be inclusive of photographer’s fee, standard image licencing, and all resources required to actualise the final suite of photographs, including production and material costs, technical equipment and/or support (for example, camera equipment and assistants), pre/post-production expenses.
