HW19 Monaro Highway Segment 637 & 638 Pavement Overlay and Foam Stabilising

⁠⁠⁠Scope: 

Key features of the proposal include:

• Road widening to allow for 3.5 m wide travel lanes for the full length of the proposal

• Construction of a 0.6 metre wide centre line treatment (WCLT) for the full length of the proposal

• Construction of a minimum of one (1) metre sealed shoulder (total length 4.613 m), with up to three (3) metre sealed shoulder at selected locations (estimated total 136 m)

• Construction of audio tactile land marking (ATLM) between centre lines and adjacent to edge lines (9.000 m total length)

• Installation of flexible roadside safety barrier (FRSB) at selected location (total length 1.159 m)

• Installation of concrete SO gutter (estimated 2.200 m).

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified contractors carry out construction of new pavement culvert approaches at 6.5km South of West Wyalong, Newell Highway.

Construction of the new concrete culvert is not included in the scope and will be completed by TfNSW prior to contractor commencing Pavement Rehabilitation works. The scope includes shoulder widening, granular pavement overlay, and asphalt pavements and culvert deck pavement works.

Minimum Qualification: Tenders must be prequalified under National Pre-qualification System for Roadworks Category: R1 or higher at the date of closing of tenders.

A pre-tender meeting will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams at 10:00 am on 16 September 2025. Attendance at the pre-tender meeting is mandatory to submit a conforming tender.
