Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers (ROPS) - DRFA Works

Mareeba Shire Council (the Principal) invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for selection as a prequalified supplier of road construction and maintenance activities as described in more detail in Part 5 – Scope.

It is expected that the majority of the work will be funded under the Queensland State’s Government’s Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) through the Queensland Reconstruction Authority (QRA).

The Principal intends to establish this register of pre-qualified suppliers and to subsequently invite quotations for particular work packages from selected pre-qualified suppliers.

The Principal’s strong preference is to use contractors from North Queensland.
