Tender Description
This contract is for the delivery of irrigation related material and services/works used in the operation and maintenance of open space areas within the municipality of Greater Shepparton City Council. These areas include public open space, sports fields and recreation areas.
The services and works under this contract include the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of irrigation systems—including pump installation and servicing—as well as the supply and delivery of irrigation materials. In addition, the Contractors are expected to provide technical advice and support to ensure the efficient design, operation, and optimisation of irrigation systems across open space areas. This may include guidance on system layout, water efficiency strategies, troubleshooting, and recommendations for product selection and upgrades.
The Panel of Suppliers will be engaged through a schedule of rates contract for the delivery of ongoing services/works for a period of three years with three one year options to extend (3+1+1+1).
Tenders can be downloaded by going to www.greatershepparton.com.au/tenders and following the link on Council’s portal to the tendering portal. To download tenders, tenderers must register with the portal. Registration is free of charge.
Tenders can be only lodged on line. Please note Greater Shepparton City Council no longer accepts hardcopy tenders. Please submit all tenders through the tendering website.
It is Council’s policy not to accept Tenders received after the specified closing time.
Council will not accept any tender submissions by facsimile, or by e-mail.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSIONS:
- Contract 2442 Supply of Irrigation Materials and Services - Panel of Suppliers is a Schedule of Rates Contract.
- Council expressly advises that failure to supply pricing in the section provided will result in your tender not being evaluated.
- All Tender Schedules 1-8 (inclusive) must be completed in order for the submission to be evaluated.
- You must allow sufficient time to upload your submission prior to the 4pm deadline. We suggest you familiarise yourself with the online form and uploading options via the RESPONSE tab.
- All submissions must be submitted via this online portal; submissions made through any other means will not be accepted or considered.
- Late submissions in any format will not be accepted. If you are midway through your submission and the clock hits 4:00pm (AEST) your submission will not be accepted and you will be unable to continue.
- You are encouraged to upload your submission early to avoid missing out.
- We recommend you access a good quality network/internet connection. Greater Shepparton City Council is not responsible for your internet connection quality.
- All communications regarding the submission must be via the online forum. If you have any questions or require assistance, you must lodge an online query through the QUESTIONS tab no later than five (5) days prior to tender close.
