Waste Collection & Transfer - Southern Mallee District Council

The Southern Mallee District Council invites submissions from suitably qualified contractors for the provision of kerbside waste and recycling collection services across the townships of Pinnaroo, Parilla, Lameroo, and Geranium.

Scope of Services:

• Weekly household waste collection (Thursdays & Fridays)

• Monthly household recycling collection ( 1st & 2nd Tuesday)

Future Service Expansion:

Council is committed to environmental sustainability and regional landfill reduction targets. As part of its long-term strategy, consideration will be given to the inclusion of FOGO (Food Organics & Garden Organics) Green Waste collection in future service delivery.

• Maintain current service levels with high reliability and community satisfaction

• Support Council’s sustainability goals and waste minimisation initiatives
