Tender Description
The Asset Management Plan Development Project (AMPDP) is a critical initiative aimed at enhancing the management and sustainability of acute health infrastructure assets. This procurement is necessary to improve and develop comprehensive health service asset management plans, increase asset management maturity in the portfolio, to ensure alignment with the Asset Management Accountability Framework (AMAF) and to support strategic asset investment decisions that align with the Department’s priorities.
The department is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Lead Management Contractor to:
1. Develop comprehensive asset management plans (AMPs) capable of informing asset needs feeding into investment pipeline development (major and minor capital).
- Major capital will be informed through having aggregated view of asset condition and risk on building / campus / hospitals level.
- Minor capital will be informed through determining equipment and embedded infrastructure risks across the sector that need to be addressed in a structured and pro-active capital replacement program.
2. Streamline annual asset data collection and updates for health services, to collate and update their asset information on an annual basis.
3. Improve the department’s Asset Management Accountability Framework (AMAF) maturity profile.
- The program will address the gaps in the existing data and provide a systemic approach for determining asset replacement needs that can inform future investment for major and minor capital works.
