Tender Description
Community Housing Limited (“CHL”) is a not-for-profit organisation that owns and manages affordable and social housing across Australia.
Community Housing (Vic) Ltd (“CHVL”) has approximately 3600 properties with many more in the pipeline.
Some of these properties are unit and townhouse complexes, with sites located from Warrnambool to Mallacoota and everywhere in between.
With many of these sites requiring cyclical gardening & lawn maintenance, CHVL is introducing an open tender to outsource this work by application from suitably qualified landscaping contractors.
Due to the far-reaching geography of the scope of works, the tender is open for applications to the following groups:
- Central Metro: 89 sites, $127,000 + per annum
- East Metro: 146 sites, $208,000 + per annum
- West Regional: 70 sites, $100,000 + per annum
- East Regional: 142 sites, $202,000 + per annum
- Northeast Regional: 93 sites, $132,000 + per annum
Tender applicants may offer services for more than one group. Please note tender applications must include at least one Group selection; applications with no Group indicated will be withdrawn.

The successful tenderer(s) will progress through three phases:
- expression of interest phase,
- request for tender phase,
- the tender process will be concluded by a round of interviews.

CHVL require relevant insurances to be submitted with their tender submission in accordance with the draft contract agreement attached. All contractors entering CHVL are required to submit a current Police clearance and NDIS Worker check to our chosen online compliance portal, Linksafe.
The contractor must provide their own safe access to the property/yard. The contractor must advise immediately of any evidence of illegal activity on a property.
The contractor must provide photographic evidence for each area maintained.
The contractor must provide a monthly schedule of works one month in advance.
