DEM is seeking a probity resource:

• to ensure the impartiality and fairness of government spending and decision-making.
• manage real and perceived conflicts of interest.
• manage confidentiality requirements.
• with sound knowledge of SA Government procurement policies and procedures.
• with experience in complex procurement and negotiation processes for the South Australian Government or equivalent.
• with sound understanding of the principles of ethics and probity in procurement operations.
• preferably with probity experience within SA Government for projects of a high level of market interest and/or significant value and complexity

The probity resource will work with DEM staff to ensure that all processes are conducted in a manner that aligns with the probity standards of the South Australian government.

The successful supplier will be required to deliver services of the following nature: 

• General probity advice and services in accordance with SA Government standards for probity, governance, ethics and values in relation to the delivery of the remit of DEM;
• specific probity advice to support more specific individual processes and / or projects, including the development of probity plans if required;
• advising on, potential risks, and issues as they arise;
• reviewing documentation;
• attending meetings with industry stakeholders as requested; and
• maintaining a conflict-of-interest register or registers
