ABOUT THE TENDER

The University of Adelaide is undertaking a program to increase access to Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in accordance with the Automated External Defibrillators (Public Access) Act 2022 and supporting 2024 regulatory updates. As part of its commitment to safety and compliance, the University intends to install around 250 AED units in publicly accessible locations within all buildings across its North Terrace, Waite, and Roseworthy campuses. Final number of AEDs has not yet been ascertained, however currently stands at 327 with a goal to rationalize the numbers prior to tender release.

This Expression of Interest (EOI) seeks responses from suppliers capable of providing AED units and associated infrastructure under a range of operational models. The University is exploring several combinations of connectivity and maintenance, with a view to determining which offering delivers the most effective outcome within internal constraints relating to infrastructure, cyber security, servicing, and procurement governance.
