Kyvalley Hall DDA Toilet and Entry Renewal

The Kyvalley hall is located at 534 Scobie Road, Kyvalley and is part of the Management Agreement in place between Council and the Kyvalley Community group, it is Council's responsibility to ensure the infrastructure within the facility is to an appropriate standard. It identified the need for a restructure of the toilets and entry points into the facility as there were issues relating to access.

Essentially the project will look to reconfigure the toilets and the side entry to be more accessible. Design of new Male and Female toilet and Accessible toilet and improve access through a side entry are available.

The renewal project is to refurbish the male and female toilets, new DDA toilet to provide compliant toilet facilities to the hall.

• Provide a facility to deliver Council services now and into the future and minimises life cycle costs, ongoing operation and maintenance resource requirements. This includes methods of maximising the energy efficiency of the new development
• All abilities access - that the final design enables accessible and multigenerational use and reduces Council’s risk and liability in regard to public access
• Comply with current NCC guidelines, standards, regulations and authority requirements.
• All aspects of project (design/material/construction) to consider long term lifespan/durability.
