24m Metro Class Passenger Vessels

Auckland Transport (AT) is seeking information from experienced shipbuilders regarding the construction and delivery of multiple identical 24-meter aluminium-hulled, diesel-powered sistership passenger ferries. These vessels are intended to operate on the AT public transport network.

This RFI seeks details on market capacity, pricing, commercial terms, scheduling, and interest from potential suppliers to aid in procurement planning.

If a procurement proceeds, it is indicatively anticipated to be issued late 2025.
