The border town of Echuca Moama is located on the Murray River with Echuca located on the southern (Victorian) side of the river and Moama located on the northern (NSW) side of the river. Echuca Moama offers a diverse range of events and tourism eperiences.

Tourism is a major economic driver for the region and in recent years, the Echuca Moama visitor economy has been significantly impacted by Covid, significant flooding events and the closure of the local tourism association, Echuca Moama Tourism.

Until recently, Destination Marketing for Echuca Moama was provided by Echuca Moama Tourism under a service level agreement with Campaspe Shire and Murray River Councils. This organisation has now ceased to exist.

Working together, the Councils have developed an Offical Visitor Guide for the region and developed seasonal marketing campaigns utilising a range of media platforms including TV, radio and social media. Working with an external agancy, the Councils have developed a 3 year marketing plan to support and promote the Visit Echuca Moama brand.

Tenders are invited for a Desination Marketing Agency to deliver on this 3-year Destination Marketing Plan.
