Council is seeking to implement a cloud-based, Software as a Service (SaaS) solution for records management. The solution must provide secure, scalable, and user-friendly functionality that enables the end-to-end management of both digital and physical records across their lifecycle—from creation and capture to classification, access, storage, and lawful disposal.
The proposed SaaS platform will play a critical role in:
• Ensuring compliance with recordkeeping standards issued by the Public Record Office Victoria (PROV);
• Supporting the Council’s obligations in responding to Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, legal discovery, and internal audits
• Enhancing information governance, collaboration, and workflow efficiency across departments
• Reducing reliance on manual and paper-based processes
• Supporting disaster recovery and business continuity through secure cloud storage and redundancy features.
