The City of Charles Sturt (CCS) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) to deliver an Aggregated Green Energy Model that transforms how energy is produced, managed, and shared across our community sporting clubs.

Project Summary

The City of Charles Sturt is seeking visionary and capable partners to deliver a cutting-edge Aggregated Green Energy Model that transforms how energy is produced, managed, and shared across our community sporting clubs.

This model aims to aggregate the generation and storage of renewable energy – leveraging existing solar PV systems while enabling the deployment of additional solar, battery storage, or other green technologies. The infrastructure may be installed across licensed sporting club sites or suitable third-party locations, creating a networked solution optimised for local demand and shared benefit.

We are inviting submissions from experienced, innovative providers to fund, install, manage, and maintain this infrastructure under a centralised model that is designed to:

• Reduce energy costs for sporting club tenants

• Deliver measurable carbon reductions

• Support energy equity and resilience

• Enable smart participation in energy markets (e.g. VPPs)

• Position Charles Sturt as a national leader in community-led renewable innovation
