This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is for the provision of Noise Monitoring services at the Melbourne Markets site in Epping, Victoria.

BGIS on behalf of Melbourne Market Authority (MMA), is seeking to engage the services of a professional organization to replace & manage Noise Monitoring Equipment & reporting at the Epping market site.

The service provider shall ensure the services and equipment are NATA accredited and maintained in accordance with AS/NZS 1269 & AS 2586.

The primary tasks involved with this service are to replace EOL assets associated with the current noise monitoring system & to maintain the system for a period of 3 years (1 year DLP + 2 years servicing)

Asset Replacement Supply, install & commission

-8 noise monitors (5 located on Gates 1 & 2 and 3 located on acoustic wall) incl. solar batteries if applicable

-Network repeater

-Noise monitoring PC, software & wireless modules. Provision for integration with site BMS (WebCTRL from automated logic)

Noise Monitor Unit Calibration

-Remove/reinstate 8 x Noise Monitorsfor Calibration (x5 at Gates 1 & 2 & x3 located on acoustic walls)

-All charges incurred for High Risk Work including EWP hire, driver & spotter, will be absorbed by the Contractor, EWP equipment can be provided by BGIS if requested

Noise Monitor Endorsed Calibration

-National Association of Testing Authorities(NATA) endorsed Calibration of 8 x Noise Monitors 

Network Repeater

-Test, check, adjust and maintain Mesh Network Repeater:

-Location of the existing repeater : P1 Carpark (on bike shed) 

Solar Battery

-Replacement/Maintenance of 3 x Solar Batteries

Windsock

-Replacement/Maintenance of all 8 x Windsocks

Noise Monitoring

Conduct noise monitoring audits & reporting in the following locations using the Larson David Sound Level Meter:

• Trading Floor (location to be confirmed prior to audit)

• Central Plant

• Fire Pump Room

Larson Davis Sound Level Meter & Filter

-Ensure the NATA endorsed Calibration on Hand-held Larson Davis Sound Level Meter and Filters x 1

Inclusive of courier charge to and from MMA site

Larson Davis & Calibrator Calibration

-Hand-held Larson Davis and Calibrator calibration Inclusive of courier charge to and from MMA site
