Tender Description
Queensland Police Service (QPS) invites Suppliers to participate in a Request for Information (RFI) to gather information in relation to QPS26064 Police Referrals.
Since May 2016 Queensland Police Service (QPS) Frontline Officers have connected at-risk and vulnerable community members to external support service providers through the Police Referrals System with the aim of reducing repeat calls for service, recidivism and victimisation. The Police Referrals System enables Frontline Officer to initiate referrals from QPRIME to over 510 service providers covering 62 different issues, which are broadly grouped into 21 broad social issues which relate to themes including:
- community support
- domestic violence
- family and youth support
- health and wellbeing
- homelessness
- identity theft & fraud
- legal
- mental health
- seniors
- victim support
