Apply for a 100 Neighbourhood Batteries grant.
Overview
Up to $6.63 million is available under Round 3 of the 100 Neighbourhood Batteries (100NB) Program. Grant applications open from 15 July to 15 September 2025. $400,000 is available per battery.

- Multi-battery applications are welcome.
- You must submit your application by 11 am, Monday 15 September 2025.
- If you apply for funding, you must be able to complete your project by 31 August 2027.
- We will only accept late applications where it doesn’t affect the integrity of the application process.
Key dates
- Applications open: Tuesday 15 July 2025
- Questions close: 5 pm, Monday 8 September 2025
- Applications close: 11 am, Monday 15 September 2025
- Applicants notified and agreement executed: February 2026
- Activities commence: March 2026
- Activities completed and acquittal reports submitted: August 2027
