Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $17 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $154 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Potato Workforce Training and Leadership Program (PT24002).
This project aims to address this need for leadership and capability building opportunities for potato industry stakeholders and facilitate them to stay innovative, competitive, and ready for the future. Over five years, the project will offer financial support for a suite of training in both technical, management and leadership skills for those in emerging, middle and established industry roles (within both levy paying and non-levy paying businesses) in conjunction with other development opportunities, including study tours.
This project will oversee an annual funding allocation which Australian potato industry stakeholders can apply for in order to use towards training and leadership development opportunities. The chosen project Delivery Partner would be responsible for managing and awarding the funding allocation under the guidance of a Project Reference Group (PRG).
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
