The City is seeking tenders from suitably experienced contractors for the provision of repairs, routine and preventative maintenance, and minor modifications of existing fire services.

Details of the Conditions of Tendering and Contract, Scope, Specification and Selection Criteria are provided in the City's Tender Document.

Scope: 

The Contractor is required to provide the services, which shall consist of, but not be limited to:

(a) Undertaking routine and preventative inspections.

(b) Reporting on findings and where necessary, providing detailed reports and costing for repair work to the City.

(c) Maintaining the fire services in accordance with the applicable Australian Standards.

(d) Maintaining and improving the levels of systems performance, reliability and availability.

(e) Developing and maintaining a maintenance record system.

(f) Providing a single point of communication and responsibility for inspection and maintenance.

(g) Providing an effective breakdown call out response and rectification service.

(h) Disposal of all waste generated as a result of providing repair, inspection and maintenance services under this Contract.

Performing minor modifications to fire services will be carried out in accordance with the City’s purchasing protocols.

The Contractor must provide appropriately trained and qualified personnel to maintain the system operation within its functional capabilities.

The Contractor shall ensure the services provided are inclusive of all necessary materials, labour, equipment, associated apparatus and the like.
