Volunteer Hub Hosting and Partnership Support

⁠⁠⁠DFES is seeking a suitably experienced Contractor to provide the below services:

1. Hosting of the Hub

• Maintain DFES’s existing cloud-based infrastructure for both the Hub production and test environments;
• Provide direct hosting of the infrastructure or provide hosting through an external service provider, however, acting as the coordinating entity;
• Retain full liability for the management, performance, and compliance of the hosting environment;
• Ensure the continued security, reliability, and scalability of the hosting solution while managing server configurations, backups, and system updates;
• Australian-based data centres, security policies, incident response plans, disaster recovery measures, and details of third-party access;
• Support integrations with DFES’s existing applications, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and content synchronisation with SharePoint Online; and
• Scalability to handle high-load periods and maintain clear procedures for change management, security, and business continuity are essential.

2. On-going Partnership support

• Ongoing partnership support to DFES, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective contract management;
• Dedicated monthly hours for contract administration, regular meetings, performance reviews, and stakeholder engagement;
• Structured task management system to facilitate tracking of bugs, feature requests, and overall progress;
• Comprehensive reporting, including KPIs, measuring contract performance across areas such as system availability, security, stakeholder satisfaction, and innovation; and
• Clear communication, accountability, and alignment with DFES’ strategic objectives, ensuring the efficient delivery of contracted services.
