Tender Description

SMW Linewide package for the provision of an Independent Estimator under a Bespoke Independent Estimator Deed - Tripartite Deed & Financial Auditor under a separate PSC L2 over a 6-year term approx.

Project goals

Under the LW Contract, Sydney Metro has an obligation to engage a Service Provider to fulfil the Independent Estimator role. Sydney Metro is intending to engage a Financial Auditor to progressively assure that actual costs are incurred in accordance with the conditions of the LW Contract.

The Service Providers play a key role in achieving Sydney Metro’s objectives in reducing the administrative burden and fostering a non-adversarial relationship between Sydney Metro and the LW Contractor engaged to deliver Linewide works.

Scope

Sydney Metro (the Principal) is seeking to engage the services of a suitably experienced Independent Estimator. The Independent Estimator plays a key role in achieving Sydney Metro’s objectives in reducing the administrative burden and fostering a non-adversarial relationship between Sydney Metro and the Linewide Contractor.

The Independent Estimator is responsible for providing the following Services:

  • to Sydney Metro in respect of the Major Change Valuation Services, and,
  • in the case of Dispute Resolution Services, as an independent third party.

Sydney Metro (the Principal) is also seeking to engage the services of a suitably experienced Financial Auditor to provide financial auditing services for the Linewide package to progressively assure that actual costs are in accordance with the conditions of the contract.

As an additional person requires access, the entity must provide additional CDPs. A copy of Attachment A: Individual Confidentiality Acknowledgement in Word is provided for convenience. Applicants that do not provide ARF and CDP may not be granted access.
