Whitsunday Regional Council (Council) is seeking a qualified aquatic engineer experienced with pool and water park plant room functions (Consultant), to undertake a comprehensive asset performance assessment for Airlie Beach Lagoon, Bowen Swimming Pool and Bowen Water Park and provide the following reports for each site:

a) Facility Condition Assessment (FCA);

b) Scope of Remediation Works (SORW); and

c) Asset Register (AR),

required to upgrade the plant room and asset register for the three sites (the Services).

The Consultant must have demonstrable experience for the entire range and lifecycle of public aquatic centre’s structure and infrastructure.

The three facilities are managed by private companies, the Operators. The Consultant must not disrupt or impede the operation of the facilities or the adversely affect the activities of the Operator.
